Bright Ideas, a grant program sponsored by the Coastal Electric Cooperative Foundation and Coastal Electric Cooperative, awards teachers money for creative, innovative lessons that light up students' love of learning.

This year's winners were: Deborah Starkey, Susan Fennell, Dr. Mattie Brown, Delores Crawford, Angela West, Paula Landon, Barbara Ramps, Vickie Seigler, Jaime Rearley, Theresa White, Alice Bennett, Janet Perry, Chris Flake, Vicki Bittaker, Susan Douglas, Dorothy Allison, Brenda Clark, Amy Nash, and Donna Rosenbaum.
