  • Sharon had a few battles with the tape dispenser. After trying to juggle tape and scissors she asked for a dispenser. She got one, but found the dispenser didn't cut tape so well.

  • Pharris is the music man. He worked Saturday to get the sound system set up on the truck.
  • Coastal Electric employees, their spouses, and children came to help decorate the truck.
  • The decorating team worked steadily to get the truck ready for the parade.
  • After putting the gold foil on the truck, the team attached banners and the gold fringe.
  • The wreath was a team effort. Kim bought the reindeer. Anne spray-painted them gold. Becky wrote the banner ribbon and made the bow. She and Gloria arranged it. Then Melvin and Sam, Michelle's husband, got the wreath on the truck.

  • To get the foil on the truck the team used magnet tape. To get the banners on the truck they poked holes in the foil to attach suction cups. The banner's grommets attached to the hook on the cups.

  • The decorating team saw someone else drive by with spinners. They decided to create spinners of their own with garland.
